Treatment type: Post-surgical wound dehiscence · Treatment length: Ongoing
Session 1 — the round wound over the mastectomy scar Session 1 — wider view of the chest wall Session 1 — another view of the wound site Session 2 — the wound bed after debridement Session 2 — full view of the wound and surrounding scar
A round wound at the site of a mastectomy scar that stayed open instead of closing, its bed covered with dead tissue and fibrinous discharge. In the first session the wound was assessed and its bed debrided to remove the dead tissue and discharge; by the following session the wound bed is clean and its edges are well defined. This patient's treatment at Dialine is ongoing.
